Well, plane isn't 'new' either, but it's new to me. This week I completed the buy-in into 4-way partnership on N123AV, a 1972 A36: Attachment: N123AV_at_2W5.jpeg And I think I am in love ! If I had to build an A36, this is what I would end up with. It's a 1972 model that has been upgraded with a IO550, baggage extension, STec55 autopilot, a GNS430, JPI700 and a MX20 MFD. 1250 useful load and a very benign CG. No tips, no turbo, just pure Bonanza. The best feature of the plane is that it is hangared at an airport 8 minutes from my place in Maryland. I can drop the kids off at school at 7:30 and be out flying by eight . As for me, most here probably know me to some extent. I split my time between Fargo, ND (for work) and La Plata, MD (for more work, and my family). I spend my time on all kinds of things including radiology, medical administration, some nonprofit work, the fire department and of course my wife and 2 kids. Anyone who comes into DC, consider landing at 2W5 (Maryland Airport) which is in the SFRA about 40 minutes south of the Capitol. It's a laid back place with a 3740ft runway and considering the mess that is DC traffic fairly easy access into the district and Alexandria. Ping me via PM, during my Maryland weeks I have lots of flexibility in my schedule and I am always up for meeting other pilots. Oh, and in case you know someone local, over in peddlers talk, I have a share in another A36 based out of Manassas, VA for sale .

Congrats Florian! Good looking bird! And I may take you up on that airport invite. Getting a little tire of that commute in from HEF, Warren
