Hi everyone, new pilot here and looking at buying a plane for my Instrument Training and trips with the family. Based in Huntsville, AL (HSV). Looking at something like a Sundowner or Sierra, e.g. 4-seater planes. My next step is to get some help on a pre-buy inspection (one plane i’m looking at is not in alabama). After that, does Anybody know of a good Beechcraft mechanic around Huntsville for maintenance / annuals ? (Edit: just saw the other thread viewtopic.php?f=7&t=144898&p=2027162&hilit=HSV#p2027162about mechanics near Huntsville, thanks).

Welcome!
You also have some options up North of you for maintenance if needed. I know Shelybville (KSYI) does a decent bit of Bonanza's and that might not even be a 30min flight from Huntsville.
