Hey everybody,
I have a bit of an interesting background but I'll try to keep it short.
My name is Adam Ogilvie and I am from beautiful Loveland, CO. My dad, Terry, has been a beech talk member for a little while now. He's been a professional pilot my whole life so naturally I acquired the flying bug. I began flying myself the summer after I graduated high school in 2012 as a graduation gift from my family.
My grandparents on my mother's side live up in Laurel, Montana (near Billings). They too are aviators and have been for quite some time. About 1 month after graduation I was shipped up there to begin my flight training from my own grandmother. I did my training in 2 different 182's and a Wag-aero J3, flying 2-3 times a day, knocking out my private license in ~5 weeks.
A year went by before my dad was able to convince my mom to buy an airplane of his own. July of '13 he picked up N4393A, a wonderful 1970, F-33A that I have the majority of my time in. I went to CU Boulder (~1hr south of Loveland) which allowed me access to 93A on weekends and taking the occasional trip when I could afford too (college jobs are good). My last year of school I even picked up a glider towing job at the municipal airport (

I now work as an FO flying a Shorts 360 for Air Cargo Carriers based out of San Juan, PR. Its been a wild ride and I feel incredibly blessed!
