I’ll try to make this quick...
My Beech connection is twofold: The C-12U series aircraft I currently fly for the U.S. Army, which is more or less a King Air 200. Second, a forum member here, good friend, and Twin Bonanza owner that I flew with before he retired from the Army. At the time we were flying the C-23 Sherpa, a modified Shorts 360. I’ve had the privilege of flying Ron’s T-bone a bit, and it’s a wonderful aircraft.
I also own a Vans RV-6 which I enjoy a great deal. Simple, economical and fun. I keep the RV is at Fresno Chandler, KFCH but I’m working in Sacramento all week @ KMHR. The last year or so I haven’t been able to fly the RV as much as I would like.
I’m sure to find some good info on the site, and hopefully I can contribute as well.
Doug

Doug is being too modest in his bio. He is one of the most experienced dual rated (RW/FW) Master Army Aviators in the U.S. Army. Doug self deployed in the Shorts C-23B Sherpa three times across the Atlantic to Iraq and Eygpt. He flew many combat related hours in the second Gulf War. Many C-23 fixed wing combat missions were flown NOE, often within one wing span of the terrain for extended distances. Doug also helped pioneer the use of NVG's in the Shorts-an aircraft never designed for that type of flight. As a very current military King Air (C-12) pilot who manages a flight detachment, its personnel, training and maintenance, Doug is a great addition to BT. Welcome Doug!
