Just ran across this site! Happy to see some life left in GA ... etal. Been quiet around here lately. I am owned by a 1949 A35 since 1975 - we've flown together for more than 4000 hrs - three engines - and god only knows how much money. She's still going strong, currently in for annual. An engineer by training and career - IMHO Beech designs represent an era of true craftsmanship. Recently had some sheet metal work done and had to remind the young fellow doing the work that these airplanes were designed and built with slide rules and S curves - no computers or CNC machines. Hope to make the Beech Party this year in Tullahoma - been a while since I've been up there. If you can make it - Drop in! Look for 29A and say hello.
