Hi -
For almost two years now, I've been part of the Beech community by flying a beautiful Bonanza A36, shared with six other partners, based at Boeing Field in Seattle. However, I've always wanted a twin (for no rational reason, I suppose), and a good opportunity presented itself when I had a chance to purchase N6033X, advertised for sale here on BeechTalk.
I closed on the airplane a while ago, but prior to bringing her home, I wanted to have a few discrepancies corrected. Needless to say, the maintenance shop was backed up a bit, but just about a week ago I finally got to fly N6033X to her new home at Paine Field in Everett. :-)
Prior to the solo flight back home, I did 10 hours of insurance-required dual training. I have to say that it was ten hours very well spent; we ended up going thru the entire ABS checkout guide, plus an IPC. And, while doing so, we flew into some challenging airports under a variety of conditions.
I know, "photos or it didn't happen," but I'll let folks look at the photos in
Neal Schwartz's ad - he did a much better job of presenting the airplane than I could.

P.S. If anyone is interested in my 1/7 Bonanza A36 share, I'll have that posted for sale in the "For Sale" section soon.
