Greetings all, I just purchased a new to me 1977 V35B, from Kevin Gabriel in Galveston, TX. Flew it back home to Lake Havasu, AZ this last Sunday. The pre buy went very smooth with Kurt at Total Aviation in Pearland, TX. I would highly recommend Kurt & his crew. I then flew with a CFII and completed my requirements for insurance. Kevin called me the afternoon of the inspection. I told him we had big problems as two screws were missing & one screw was loose! That was about the extent of the squawk list!
I am so pleased with this airplane I can hardly stand it. A good friend of mine, Roger, here in Lake Havasu has been helping me understand the finer points of flying this great machine. He has probably forgotten more about Bonanzas than I’ll ever know. He’s a little bit bummed out that I may have a nicer plane than his. No, not really.
Usually, when I have purchased a plane in the past, I have to spend a month & many $$$ bringing the plane up to an excellent standard. Not this plane! Kevin has been through nearly every system and item to a level the average buyer doesn’t come in contact with. I appreciate the time, effort & money Kevin invested in N2DU. Kevin was very helpful and was a pleasure to deal with. So now the Admiral & I get to enjoy the this terrific aircraft.

Welcome Scott! Congrats on the V35B. Too bad your pre-buy didn’t discover the defective empennage with the missing control surface. It will probably still fly ok that way.
