Hi all, I'll start this off by saying I'm an old, rusty pilot finally getting back into the wild blue yonder! I Got my ticket in 1978, flew approx. 468 hours up to 1990 in the Cessna 150, 172, Piper Cherokee, Warrior, Archer and the most fun Grumman Tiger AA5B. Life, family, job all took a toll on flying. Now I'm approaching retirement but before I do, it's time I get back in the left seat.... with my own plane. I am currently looking at a J35 even though I have no Bonanza experience. I have always loved the look of the V tail and have always been a fan of the Bonanza performance. I hope I'm not biting off more than I can chew here but the way I figure, I might as well get current, get my flight review and get my high performance and complex endorsements all with the aircraft I will be flying all the time, at the same time. My own. Comments and suggestions on this are more than welcome. I'm not afraid of being called an idiot!!! I have been floating around here for a month or so and have really learned a great deal already about the -35 with tons more to go! This group is a wealth of information from a vastly diverse group of people and opinions! Thank you for accepting me for membership. I look forward to learning more and more! The rusty old pilot with a big learning curve ahead of him!!

Welcome to BeechTalk, Jeffrey.
Get in that Bonanza and get going!
BTW, I was born at Parkview Hospital, my brother still lives in Ft. Wayne, and my nephew owns 4eos, an IT management company there. We fly into Smith Field once or twice a year..

Jeff, welcome to BT, you’ll find the Bonanza flies like a dream compared to those you flew before, IMO, Off topic, I’m mentoring a young gentleman from Fort Wayne, he married a local girl, and wants to fly to visit family and so on. He’s a big motocross guy, should be able to handle a plane easy Good on you for getting back into aviation
