Happy new year everyone. Been flying a C-182D for the past 800 hours and considering purchasing a Bonanza. Don't know much about them and looking forward to reading and learning. From what I've read so far, this is the place to research. Thank you.

Greetings Art, and welcome. This is the place to learn. Your 182 probably carries more payload than my 1956 G35, but payloads and CG issues improved with the newer models. Learn about all that here. Tell us where you are from and maybe somebody will offer you a ride.

Welcome Art! I was in a Cessna prior to my Bonanza and think you’d get over not having two doors really quick. We’d love to see pictures of your 182.

You might consider getting a copy of “those incomparable Bonanzas “ to help figure out what might fit your needs. Even within the three major models there exists a lot of variation. Then there are the numerous STCs..
