Howdy folks! My name is Kyle Stewart, and I figured it's time to move from "lurker" status to "active member".
I've enjoyed the informative and often entertaining posts I've had the pleasure of reading so far.
I am a lifetime aviation nut, and couldn't imagine life any other way. I started in aviation by attending A&P Mechanic school, and earned my A&P Mechanic certificate. I've since added my IA rating. I'm currently working full-time as the resident IA for a local flight school/maintenance shop here at Dallas Executive Airport (KRBD), studying ground school, and prepping to take my PPL written test. My goal is to obtain my CFI-I and MEI certificates/ratings, and maintain a few aircraft while flying and instructing part-time.
I've had the pleasure of working on quite a few Barons, Bonanzas, a couple Dukes, and lots of King Airs from the C90A through B300's. I love Beechcraft designs, they're among the best in aviation, IMO! I plan to purchase a small 2 or 4 seat trainer aircraft soon, and work my way up to a Bonanza or Debonair eventually. So far, I've really enjoyed the range of wisdom and humor to be found here at BeechTalk. I look forward to meeting you all here! If you're ever at KRBD, stop in and say hello to Kyle at Slipstream Aviation. There's a nice restaurant called Delta Charlie's on the field that serves a pretty decent burger, too.
