Just joined today and looking forward to capitalizing on the wealth of knowledge here. Getting close to finishing my PPL and trying to set a continued path for my training beyond the IFR. I live in the McKinney Texas area and look forward to meeting a lot of good and knowledgeable people. Hope all of you have a Great and Safe New Year......

Welcome Jim,
I am based at KTKI McKinney in NW hangars - the local EAA chapter has a coffee and donut the 1st Saturday of every month at 9am in these hangars - all are welcome - do not have to be in the EAA to attend.
Come on over - you will see the sign for the meeting.
You can also PM me and we can meet up - will be at the hangar this weekend.
Ken
