I've been a member here since January this year, doing a lot of reading and learning. I am 1/3 of our partnership that has recently acquired a 1981 V35B D-10371. After months of looking we bought 115CA in early March. The information available here was very helpful in our search, this place is a treasure.

We are Old Farts Fly, LLC. This is our second airplane. We recently sold our Grumman Traveler which we had for almost nine years. We hope to meet some fellow BT folks at Tullahoma next month and show off our new pride and joy.

Here we are two weeks ago about to install the cowl prior to first start of the freshly installed CMI rebuilt IO-520. Runs and flies great. After about 10 hours we are very impressed with the GAMIs and new D'Shannon baffles.

Thanks Guys!

Congrats. Nice looking V35B, not far from the end of the line.

Beautiful plane.

You do know you can just open 1 side of the cowling, right?

lol, yes. We were installing the cowl for the first time since the new engine install. We rolled it out of the hangar to prep for the first start. The airplane was coming out of an extensive annual that included the factory rebuilt engine, prop overhaul, governor overhaul, complete interior r&r, headliner recover, floor board repairs, all new hoses, ducts, anti chafe seals (thanks Guy) engine mounts, D'Shannon baffles, wiring cleanup, sump drain replace plus the usual annual items. We should be good to go for a while I hope.

We're in the panhandle. FL17 is just east of Eglin AFB, just north of Destin (north side of Choctawhatchee Bay)

Beautiful plane. Love the paint job, I'm collecting design ideas, that one goes in the pile.

Beautiful plane! I've got just over a year behind my CMI factory rebuilt IO520, and have been very happy.
Welcome to BT!
Tom
