Hello All, I was encouraged to make my first post an introduction post... so here goes!! I earned my Private Pilot License while in high school and went on to complete my college education at LA Tech in the aviation program. While completing my required studies and working full time in the corporate arena (B200), I moved to the Part 121 world in 1978 and have been with the same company since (several mergers, etc.) I am nearing the forced furlough age of 65 and still wanting to travel, but not at the retiree boarding priority (at the bottom of the boarding list). We currently have a really nice IFR equipped Archer II but realize the need for something a little faster and has longer legs. IMHO, the A36 would be just what the "doctor ordered". I look at the different "for sale" websites daily (okay.. more than once a day) searching for the right airplane. We are not in a hurry! I am hoping to learn more about Bonanza ownership.. the pluses and minuses!! All the best, Rusty and Kris Bliss Somerville, TN KFYE

Welcome to BT Rusty! If the A36 fits the bill, enjoy the shopping!

Welcome, Rusty (and Kris)! I love my A36, and would be happy to answer any questions you might have... But you can also click on the Mentor link at the top of the page ( mentor.php) and find someone near you who can not only sit down with you to discuss the myriad of questions you might have, but perhaps go for a flight so you can see what it's really like! Best wishes with your search and next adventures! Doc

Hello Fellow BT'ers
We finally had some nice spring days and I took advantage of them to take some pictures.
Thanks for everyone's help and especially Darryl White who helped me find "my diamond in the rough".
All the best,
Rusty
