After five years and 750 hours in the T210, my ambitions for a twin have finally caught up to me. The new (to me) airplane is an Aerostar 702P, N377RC, which I just purchased from a fellow BT member. Perhaps this warrants my reintroduction?

Of course I'm eager to start my training in the new bird, and totally conflicted about selling the 210. It makes no sense to keep both; someone is going to get a nice airplane.

Mark, I need one of these for a T210. Just in case . . . any ideas for a source? Proving more difficult than anticipated to find one.

Mark,
Nice looking '66 model. I own the grandpa of your plane. I have a 1960 210 s/n 17. I also got the urge for a twin a few years ago and bought a Colemill B55. I also had a T210L for a while.

When I bought the T210, I was going to sell the old 1960 210 but I found a cheap hangar for it about 25 miles away. I am so glad that I kept the 210. I love taking it up to just burn some gas and fly around. The Baron is great when I'm going somewhere, but flying around at 9-10 gph and landing at every small airport around is a lot of fun. I'll bet your '66 T model will scream. You have the early, light strut-braced airframe with the turbo. Sweet!

I completed my type-specific training today and am happy to be joining the multi club.

N377RC was born as an Aerostar 601P, and through an amazing series of upgrades is now an Aerostar 702P.

Thanks for letting me introduce my new plane.
