Brad and Monique are two of the nicest people you’ll ever meet....live in ID....and are in the “Nirvana neighborhood” around Cascade.
Please say hello to them....Brad just soloed...and desperately needs a 182. Tom needs a 206...I think something should happen here.....
stan I may have to hurt you. Oh, yeah. Welcome, Brad!

Brad has really taken to the flying thing. I've taken Brad on a few rides in the backcountry but about a year ago, I had a "sit down" with him and asked him why a smart guy with means, who lives on a 3000 foot grass strip and enjoys adventure, doesn't have a pilot's license. He had no answer. He has a lot of mentors but frankly, he's gettin' it done on his own. Way to go man.

My job is to convince Monique to get her license once Brad gets his. So help me out here.
Andrea Now Andrea, Andrea, Andrea ! Why does Monique have to wait in sequence to get her license? Let 'em buy the airplane and keep it exercised like a fine horse! I will keep my eyes peeled for another c 182. I would really like to see if Tom could keep one plane for more than 3 years....I think Fugly might be it! Welcome Brad and Monique! I hope to be one of your neighbors soon!

'Tis true, tis true. There must be one of those groups for him....you know...the weekly meetings where you start each meeting with, "Hi, my name is Tom and I am a plane buying addict!"

Hi all, thanks for the warm welcome. Monique and I are such novices in the aviation world and will certainly benefit from the amazing knowledge in this group. Also amazing the willingness to share your experience, it is truly appreciate. I must say that Monique is going to be the second pilot in the family primarily because she will be a much faster learner and doesn't want to make me look bad. She will be an amazing and safe pilot, so I appreciate her being willing to wait a couple months to let me get a head start. My pocket book also say thanks! If any of you are in the area of U70 let us know, we always up for a cup of coffee or a new adventure!

I see she has you trained well, Brad! If a tree falls in the forest, and no one is around to see it, does it make a sound? If a husband speaks in the forest, and no one is around to see it, is he still wrong? Welcome, Brad and Monique! Doc

Every time I look at y'all's great pictures, and see you camping, all I can think about are bears. I hate bears. They run faster than we do, and they climb trees. There was a Disney movie when I was a kid that did me in on bears. Tried to tear down a cabin and dig the kids out of a cave. Well... I'm OK around the black bears in Ruidoso. I think y'all's bears are brown. Quote: Ibuprofen is your friend. Have you tried Tumeric? Three times a day, and I quit taking ibuprofen.
