Hi fellow pilots! Purchased an H35 Bonanza the other day and wanted to check in for future help. A little history. This is my fifth SEL A/C, but first Bonanza. I have a couple hundred hours of complex time in a Turbo Arrow from 35 years ago, and am in the process of a 5 hour check ride to satisfy insurance requirements. Couple more hours and I'll be legal. The plane flies about as sweet as they come for it's size, and I have no complaints. I will need to get used to the tail waggle people tell me is typical for a V-tail. Also the controls are more sensitive than anything else I've flown. Not in a bad way, just different. All in all I'm quite happy to be back in a low wing A/C. So the plane (yet to be named) just came out of an extensive annual which I helped with so I could get familiar with the ole girl. She has nearly new paint, and only 300 hrs. on a rebuilt O-470. The avionics are not too bad, as she has altitude hold A/P, and is IFR -G ready. I ordered a complete new interior and am looking forward to some cross country traveling very soon. I haven't uploaded any pictures yet but will soon.

They sell several books with pertinent and interesting information. Colvins Clinic is something every owner should include in their library if interested in maintenance and Eckalbars book is great for flying info. I'm located at E38. AKA Alpine.

I don't have any good photos on this computer or on my phone. I do have some at the house I will upload soon. Here are a couple I took during the annual. The interior is rough, but that is why I have a new one on the way. The carpet arrived, but waiting on the rest. I'm going to attempt new aluminum backing panels. We shall see...

And moves on down the road. What kind of speeds and fuel flow are you seeing? Still has the O-470-G with the pressure carb. wich was overhauled 4 years ago. I have only flown in the pattern so far and have logged 10 landings. She just came out of annual and I decided to pull the fuel pump off and have it rebuilt. I still have the wobble pump installed and don't want to have to use it. So it's sent off and should have it back in a week or so and then I'll finish my check ride. I have no idea what kind of speed I'll see, but am hoping for 165kts.

During annual, I had a chance to look her over real good and saw how nice of a paint job it was and that means more to me than the color. Someone took their time and painted her to perfection.
