Jonathan, I transitioned from a C172 to the Bonanza at about 300 hours and found the entire experience very straight forward and enjoyable. Have fun!

Welcome to the initiated, Jonathan! Why not use the time to plan a pre-buy inspection? I have a feeling that there's nothing you're going to learn in the test flight that will change your mind, only reinforce it... Best wishes with your new S - post pics when you close the deal! Doc
