Hi, fellow Beech-nuts! After hanging around the beach and testing the BT water a few times, I've finally dived in! Yesterday I bought a 1966 V35. Straight, NDH, corrosion free airframe, with a run out engine. Today the engine is out and tomorrow it starts an overhaul by Central Cylinder, Omaha. The "while we're in there"s have already struck; I've ordered BDS baffles and BAS inertial harnesses based largely on the collective wisdom of fellow Beechtalkers. Any advice on a 406Mhz ELT?
As a member of the Offutt Aero Club, I've been flying a Citabria, C182, and a BE55 Baron (T-42A). Now that I have a V35, I think I'll drop the C182! Besides, I get plenty of 182/G1000 time as a CAP pilot.
