Is this a challenge, or what?

Fuzzy dice? Disco ball? Beer keg holder with integrated, altitude-compensating tap and serving system?

Welcome to the house!

Marcel - Nice looking plane!

I have never been to that web site http://www.airport-data.com/

There is a picture of my Debonair N484JR in there but not N4093E.

Great idea, but I suspect you'd need a pressurized mug, too.

Hey All! My name is Tim Allen (no, I'm not the actor ) Anyway, I've been lurking on this forum since it started, and I finally decided to join. I've been a pilot for about 2 years, I got my instrument rating this past summer. I've got a love of the Mooney and Bonanza airframes. I think they fill two different niches. I've never flown in either, but would be willing to give it a shot, since I know you all want to give me a ride in a Bo or a Baron, right? This is a good forum, lots of good people here.

Hey tim,

where do you live? Maybe there are some folks here who are close enough to fly with.

I live in Northwest Iowa. KORC is my home 'drome, although I did my flying out of nearby KSOY. ORC doesn't have any rental unfortunately, even though a local company keeps there jet there and all the hangars are full. Oh well, I guess the pilots around here are mostly owners, not something a poor college student can afford after all

Greetings all….My name is John LaRocco and as a Beech Bonanza owner, I am absolutely delighted to have found this forum and I’m excited to chat with fellow Beech enthusiasts. I have been the very proud owner of a 1968 V35A Bonanza for the last 20 years and after my wife and children, the Bonanza has been the love of my life.

I was very fortunate to receive both my primary and instrument training from a captain at American Airlines. We have been friends ever since and I am eternally grateful to him for the proper foundations of safe and competent flight.

My only (very small) claim to aviation fame is that I invented/designed the “Oil Easy Wrench”. I created the wrench for use on my own Bonanza but after my mechanic saw it and tried it, he said that I should market it. Today, I have two distributors and have shipped the wrench all around the world. I would be very interested to hear if any BonanzaTalk members are using one!

Happy & Safe Flying to all…

Welcome John.

If your experience is as mine you will come to value this board even more with time. Great place. You have a gorgeous airplane! Where are you located? Many of us include info in our info box about our plane type and location. Saves a lot of questions over time. Consider adding more info to yours, it's easy.

WOW...Don & Jeff....thanks for the warm welcome. I have been reading like crazy for the past couple of days trying to "catch up" on all the information. I have an interest in photography as well and I'm a member of Nikonians. I have always been very impressed with the tone of Nikonians with members of all experience levels doing their best to help one another...I must say that you have captured that same feeling here at BeechTalk. Great job! I hope to become a very active member.

Hi all,

My name is Gavin Woodman and I am a full time flight instructor working out of San Diego California. I've been flying Beech aircraft since 2003 and currently manage two Bonanzas (one A36 and one F33). I joined mainly to hear what you guys have to say about your planes, and cause I know how great of a resource owner/pilot forums can be.

I work primarily in newer "glass cockpit" aircraft such as Cirrus and Columbia (Cessna), but have to say I love to fly my old school Bonanzas.

Anyway, if you ever have a question regarding flying in and out of the Southern California Region or simply need some recurrency work, I would be more that happy to help.

Here's a picture of N4093E and N484JR. Sorry they aren't the best. I really haven't had time to take pictures.

John, Welcome!

My mechanic uses your oil wrench!

Also, I'm a member of Nikonians, having recently gotten back into photography. Just bought a D700, a 17-35 f/2.8, a 70-200 f/2.8 VR, the 1.4X teleconverter, an F5, and a few other goodies. That's to go with the D200 and 18-200VR as well as several legacy film bodies and lenses.

Over in "Babble Talk" we might get some photo conversation going.
