Welcome Tyler!

I can remember a squadron mate who tried to chase a Bone in a Viper. I believe the term "out of gas and ideas" came up

Sounds like your mission will be well served by a -35 variant. I obviously love bonanzas but you might also consider an RV -6/7/8 if two seats will do. That will give you a solid 180KTAS cross country machine which is also aerobatic and not under the restrictions of a certified plane. Tough to beat the utility and solid ride of a Bonanza though.

13 gallons per second if I did my math right. I don't think I could even afford fuel pump capable of that.

320,000 / 7 = 45,714.3 GPH = 761.9 GPM = 12.7 GPS

So yah, 13 GPS is close enough for government work. Well at least BT work.

If I were running 12.7 GPS, at least I'd be pretty sure I was ROP.

Welcome Tyler,

Truly a wealth of knowledge here. I lurked for two months and researched the information here and bought a E55 Baron. I walked into Beech Talk with no clue about Beechcraft airplanes. I just knew I need a twin with boots. I can honestly say that I probably would have bought the wrong aircraft if not for Beech talk. Some really wonderful folks here and they have been very generous and helpful with sharing their knowledge. Good luck on the hunt.
Best,

Marvin
