PM me Mike when you expect to be in the Denton area and I'll see if I can make it out to meet you at the DTO airport and run down to Rudy's for lunch.
Mike

Greetings All, I am the lucky 1/2 owner of N6134Z. A friend and me purchased N6134Z a 1982 A36 in July 2007. We have since added Garmin 530W, GDL-69A Weather and JPI. Approximately 3900 hours and 450 SMOH on an IO-550. We also have a KWX-56 Color Radar, WX-1000E SS, KFC-200 AP/FD. I have been in the aircraft business since 1994. Started out with Atlantic Aero in Greensboro, NC before working for Cessna as the Area Sales Manager for the CJ/Bravo Division for a year before being laid off. Currently I own and operate Carolina Jet ( http://www.carolinajet.net). I am an Aircraft Sales and Acquisition Broker specializing in Citations, King Airs and experience with Lears, Gulfstreams and Beechjets. I have flown many different HP Single Engine Aircraft and I love them all but the Bonanza is tough to beat. I never thought I would be lucky enough to own an aircraft much less an A36. I love the airplane and spend many weekends at the hangar, if not flying, just polishing her up. I am a Commercial Rated Instrument Pilot with expired CFI/CFII & MEI certs. Gotta get back to work. I look forward to being a BTer! Below are photos of N6134Z.

You will be filled with many bits of information and stories. In addition if you are fortunate enough, you will meet some of the contributors who provide great kindred friendship. I have and I feel lucky. Neil

Good Afternoon all. I thought as I'd posted some pictures lately I should check in and introduce myself. I live on the South coast of England (nearest ap Bournemouth) and own a 1980 A36. I have had the plane nearly ten years and amongst other things I've installed Osborn tips, Garmin 530/430, TCAS and Stomscope. I find the Bonanza is the ideal aircraft in it's class for the type of flying I enjoy which might mean using it's range for a long trip or it's short field performance to get into some challenging strips. My wife likes to fly too and we've taken the Bonanza all over Europe, Scandinavia, North Africa, the Middle East, the Baltics and Eastern Europe. I also flew it around the World last year as I've described in other postings on here. Apart from flying my own plane I have also flown a PA32 to Australia and back and the same aircraft to Cape Town South Africa and back. I think you've got a really good forum going here with some intelligent and considered postings as well as a bit of fun and entertainment. I'm sure the real name policy keeps it friendly and well mannered.
I look forward to being involved, right now I'm waiting on word about my new Hartzell prop which is replacing my old worn out McCauley.

Will, Welcome aboard, great looking A36, if you can please post some pics of your panel. I would like to hear more about your experience flying from the UK to Cape Town. What routing you used, visas, permits, landing fees, customs and immigration hassles, cost and availability of avgas, etc. I want to make this trip in my Baron once before I hang up my David Clarks.
