Hello All! I've really been enjoying this group for the last few months. I've been half owner in an E model Bonanza for the last six years. It's my second airplane, first being a 14000 hour Cessna 152 that I bought after 18 years away from flying. I got current after 18 years and at my CFI's suggestion started my instrument rating and bought the 152. After about 100 hours in the 152 and a fresh instrument ticket in my pocket I had the need for more but budget constraints demanded care. I started the search, not for an airplane, but an airplane partner. What I found was an excellent partner who very much wanted a Bonanza. The early Bonanza has really been a joy. It's fast, economical, and is at home on the grass strips of Idaho or IFR in Los Angeles basin. It's taken me though my Commercial, CFI, and CFII ratings. But now the need for something different has come again and with mixed emotions we've decided to put the Bonanza up for sale. It's listed on BT for what we think is a good price but the economy being what it is we may have it for a while. So in the mean time looking forward to continued good flying and maybe meeting up with some of the great people from BT. I'm based in Southern California at KREI.

What had changed...
I guess I can't really go much farther with my ratings, I'd like the MEI and multi engine ATP. I've done some back country flying with the Bonanza but am reluctant to fly it in to the rougher dirt strips. Of course there will be no acro in the Bonanza. The thing that hasn't changed is I still like to take a trip now and then, the partnership in the Bonanza has been perfect for that. For the money I'll get out of the Bo I don't think I come close to anything better.
