Hi, all, my name is John Somero, I'm retired from Lufthansa's Airline Training Center in Goodyear, AZ where we flew a lot of hours in F33's and Barons, and I'm currently doing a little aerial photography in a 1962 Cessna 150 and selling a lot of Beech surplus parts on eBay. My most interesting flight in a Beech was in about 2004 when a turkey buzzard decided to join us in the cockpit over Phoenix. I find the Beech products to be the "Cadillac" of the airplane lines from my generation (steam gauges, etc) and that's the planes I have the most time in; maybe 5 or 6 thousand hours. Looking forward to learning more here, even at my age!

Hi John, Looks like most of the bird guts landed in your lap. I'll bet you have many stories to tell from your experiences. L

Welcome John. I guess that bird didn't show up on your traffic system?? Seriously though, it must have been messy!
