My son is 19 and finally got his introduction flight. I have about 45 hours but so sporadic. I finally did my solo cross-country. We are half owners of a Beechraft Skipper.

Welcome. The skipper looks like fun.

As far as the PPL, get 'er done. There are family trips to be done, even if just you plus one.
