New to BeechTalk from Cleveland, GA. My son (Byron) and I have been partners in a 1980 C23 Sundowner 180 ("Mattie") since last September. Byron lives in Franklinton, NC. and I live in Cleveland, GA. I have had my private since 2/7/81, but waited until last year to actually purchase a plane. Truth be known, I had been inactive for several years and it was Byron getting his private that inspired me to get back into flying. And since I did all my training in a Sundowner, there was only one choice for our first plane. Byron and I absolutely love our amazing "Mattie" and we are planning our first trip to Oshkosh this July. I hope to see many of you there.
