I'm King Sims (Sky King), currently live on Saint Simons Island, GA. I started with a company King Air 90 in 1981, and had a number of Barons and Bonanzas as personal planes. My passion for antiques came out when I found a pair of 18's. My first flights that I recall were in SNB-5's at NAS Chamblee, GA while in NROTC GA Tech about 1957, so the 18's were a happy revisit to my past. Those led to a D17 (s/n 1020) which was working in Colorado oil fields when i purchased it and began a rather extensive restoration. Of course, having another 17 around as a pattern for the first one helped get it together, so I bought another. I sold my last personal Beech, an E33 Boananza, several years ago, still miss it, the 18 and the 17 a lot.
