New to the forum, fly a early Duke once in awhile, fly a 1976 200 BB-189 as my primary for a 135. Also fly two of those wretched piper Navajos.

The Navajo is a great airplane when it works right. Ive had 4 and a half engine failures in them and 1 governor failure in the past 4 years. Always brought me back to the airport though. Ours are just past thier prime. We only muster a 48% dispatch availability rate per airframe with our 2 Navajos on average. The King Air we got last winter makes everything look like a toy though. Without real power of a turbine, I didnt know how scared I shoud be before I flew King Air's. We are trying to phase out all of our piston airplanes from our 135 fleet. Will replace the "Jo-Jo's" with "Son of Beech", a 90. 90 coming in January.

Here's the Duke I fly once in a great while, its an early one, believe like a 69. I like how it flies! I think the Duke and its characteristics are highly misunderstood by the general pilot public and the Duke is maligned by alot of people who have never flown one. It reminds me alot and acts to me like a "micro King Air"
