it´s about 70km west of buenos aires. Do you come downtown when in buenos aires? I work right downtown, in the financial district.

We recently stayed at the Four Seasons in Uruguay, had a great time and want to return. Seems like a great country to fly around, unspoiled and free.

Welcome Felipe!!

So, when are you hosting a Beech Fly-in at your farm?

I am already buying my ferry tank!

Warmly,

Robert and all - Anytime is a good time to make an adventure trip to South America; the farm is always open for a big BT party! the adjacent old strips can probably host up to 30 or so planes! ... and you will get a rack of lamb you wont forget!

Rodolfo - I will probably be at Aerobaires in a couple of weeks and will try to coordinate if we can meet.

thanks to all.

Wonderful intro, Felipe, and welcome to BeechTalk!

I visited Paraguay and Argentina once and remember looking out over the river at Montevideo. We nearly took the ferry over but got distracted somehow and never made it. It's a beautiful part of the world, and I look forward to going back one day.

Thanks for sharing and for the pics!

:peace:

Jeff

All,

Here is a video of landing at the farm at dusk ... landed 2 mts from the runway start, a bit too much for such low light and those cows on short final ...

Also below are some pics with uncle`s Baron.

cheers

Felipe, nice pics and video! "Un aplauso para el asador" :D . Long weekend there? It was here, and I just got back from the farm, and asado is what I ate... twice :)
