I recently bought a 1994 A36 and it came with the TKS weeping wing anti-ice system. I would like to know what people are doing to clean and maintain the leading edge.

Tom, welcome and you are right to ask. I don't have TKS so I will let somebody who does answer. It does need some attention.

I also have a 1994 A36 with TKS. I use either water or avgas and a soft rag but would love to know of a better method that's still safe for the TKS. Hopefully some good ideas come out here.

Use NO solvents! They will destroy the membrane in the panels and cost you many AMU's! TKS fluid on a rag with some elbow grease is all it takes. If you have some stubborn bugs, a little fluid on a Scotchbrite pad will work.
