Glad I was not flying my new Bo. Luc, You won't have any issues in the vtail with xwinds landings. I found them easier than with the P & C airplanes that I flew before the 35. I worked at Kinze for several years myself. What do you do there and I am guessing I know who's Cirrus you were flying? John

Luc, Congrats! Awesome feeling isn't it! Red is my favorite color. I agree with comments above about fly for a little bit before changing too much in the dash. As you fly your bird you will see what matters the most as a flying machine. We will have to stay in touch as we go through this new ownership experience in parallel.

Thanks Peter. I can't live with the upholstery. It's old, ripped, smelly and...... old. My house, cars, boat, Beemer are all immaculate and that's how I like it. I'm from the old country you know, all rigid, stiff and demanding . (Not!) I'm saving some AMU's by having it all done during the annual when everything's is out of there anyway. The guy gave me a break on the price, I think he needs the work plus I get around in my business and he's counting on referrals. (The Midwest is a very small world) The panel is very fly-able as is, but it will get a makeover next year. I'm thinking a single aspen and a panel mounted 796 and I need a better/larger JPI than the 700 that's in there now. Want to fly it for a while as is to decide where I want what. Thanks for the input.

(The Midwest is a very small world) Luc, please make sure to post some before/after pictures. Sooner or later my Bo will be ready for an interior upgrade, too, so I'm curious to see what is possible to do nearby on a budget. - Martin

Will do Martin. My instructor is picking me up at CID in the morning in my plane! Look for the red BO! We are going to put a serious dent in the 15 hr requirement tomorrow. Also picking up my buddy who is dropping off his SR22T in Pella for its annual. I'm off to Moscow next Saturday and want to get the requirement out of the way before I go and the plane goes in for the annual and makeover.... We have such First World problems.....

Luc, I love the color of your new plane! And when you redo the interior keep curtains! It's a classic look and very practical. Congratulations!
