Hi folks,

My name is Ahmad and I am from Michigan.
I am a private pilot and I am taking my instrument checkride next week !
Last week was a day I will never forget !
I am in the process of buying an aircraft and I was torn between a Cirrus SR22 or the Cessna 206. Until a friend of mine asked me to fly with him up-north in his 1980 A36...
I have never been in a bonanza but I heard a lot about it.
I was cleared to take off (RWY 27) and as soon as I was 500 AGL, tower instructed to turn north.... As soon as I rolled the airplane to the right, I was so shocked and astonished how smooth and responsive that plane was  I have never flown anything like this before.
The next thing I did I after I returned home was that I joined BT and I am now meeting with a guy to show me an A36 that I am considering buying.
I am honored to be part of this community and I will keep you guys posted on the Bonanza that I will end up purchasing.

Cheers

Welcome Ahmad.... buy a Beech, you'll never look back. I tell ya - this community is very strong.

If you find a Beech you like, make sure you find a Beech experienced CFI to provide good Beech instruction to go along with the plane.

Welcome to BT. Don't forget to join the American Bonanza Society. :) They help us keep these airplanes out of trouble.

Thank you all. I scheduled my Instrument checkride for the 11th of this month (5 more days). I was talking to a friend of mine, he told me to consider a Baron instead; so I can build hi-performance, complex, and multi-engine time. What do you guys think ?
