In Kiev on business today but flying home tomorrow compliments of LH and UA (MUC FRA ORD CID) Going to Pella (KPEA) to test-fly what will hopefully become my very own Bo on Saturday. Will break my own 5 day jet lag rule, but it will be a short flight with my instructor/FAA examiner, plus adrenaline and excitment level will be sky high. The last 1/2 Bo deal fell through (owner got cold feet) but this one's promising. Buying the whole plane this time. Send good vibes my way please BT members. The plane will need an interior soon. Current interior bearable but I'm very anal and particular. ( I will need lots of advice from all of you) and eventually an Aspen. My friemd's SR22 I used for my IFR ticket has spoiled me. Have pictures but don't want to jinx the deal yet. Will aso need insurance advice, etc. first time plane buyer. Wow. So excited!!!!

Oh yes, very familiar with Pella. Did all my primary and most of my IFR training there. Neat town, awesome FBO (classic aviation) and even more awesome instructors (Shane & Jeff) . Shane is also an examiner which works out well. Dutch letters and me are close, unfortunately. As Dutch speaking Belgian immigrant, I feel right at home there. Unfortunately caught up in the LH strike in Kiev, so my return is delayed one day via Vienna. Growl. I don't do patience well I find. The Bo will have to wait one more day......
