Great intro Bart!!! You and I have spoken on the phone so I feel we are friends. As a friend, I highly suggest you stay away from this forum. Let me tell you why....
You probably have a nice life. Wife loves you. Kids are fed. Dog is always by your side. Jobs is good. Couple of vacations per year. Life is working out for you better than you ever expected. Kind of picturesque actually. Rest assured...it will continue that way for a while. Then you are going to meet a fellow Beechtalker for lunch. A fly in maybe. Its all casual and fun. He will be cool. Seem like a friend. By the end of lunch you have committed to a new Garmin 750 that you "need". Okay, the bills a little high...but hey, its your hobby. No worries.
'Nother BT guy comes along. Gets you convinced you need a new Engine monitor. Just a few thousand bucks! But watch out!! There is always another guy after that one!!!!!
It does not take long before you are robbing your kids college fund, wife is out the door, you are in the middle of winter with a heated hangar but icicles dripping from your stove, and you are selling dirt from your back yard to get your hands on anything new aviation.
Not that I know what I am talking about.....

Not that I know what I am talking about..... I've only bought one GPS (seriously) since I bought the plane 2 weeks ago. We ate re-heated pizza last night that my wife's parents bought for us when they were visiting this weekend, so I saved enough money to buy the GPS. And I've only lined up meeting with 2 BTer's so I should be safe. My wife and I are 34 and 33 years old, no kids.

If you meet those 2 BTrs you will never afford kids! It only takes 2 to get you started!!! They are a dangerous group.
