Dave & I found a 1974 A36 thanks to everyone here and especially connecting us with Bob Stephens and Paul McCracken. Bob is very patient with first time buyers and very knowledgeable about the Bonanza model line. His help made the whole process more enjoyable for us as well as all the knowledge we obtained. Found the aircraft in TUS just south of Bob. In fact Bob was gracious enough to let us use his hanger for the pre buy and replacing nose gear rod end bolts after the purchase. Paul was more than thorough in his examination of the aircraft pointing out all the little problem areas to be corrected at the next annual and also show us were the big no buy areas were. Fortunately this aircraft passed as a very clean airframe with almost new prop and strong IO-550 engine. We flew the aircraft to its new home at X60 in almost 9 hrs for 1500 mi. At one point avg about 195 kts gs. Love those tailwinds. The aircraft rode great with the 550 purring away up front. Nothing rides like a Bonanza and we were like two kids in a candy store. I am sure we will be asking all kinds of questions on this Forum. Again thanks for the help. Craig & Dave
This is a beautiful aircraft that has very low airframe and engine times with no known damage, plus new interior in 2006. It has a 300 HP IO-550B and Garmin 530 GPS. If you are looking for a wonderful fast and safe plane that needs absolutely nothing, this is it. It also has a useful load of 1401 lbs., which is a fantastic weight carrying capability for any single engine 6 place aircraft. This A36 has always been hangered, professionally maintained and we have repaired or replaced everything that was not up to par. Partner wants to sell, this Bonanza will be our loss and your gain.

Looks like a great airplane! If the "dream team" gave it the thumbs up then I am sure you got a good one! I used Bob and Paul when I bought mine and I know they helped me pick the right airplane. Congrats! Kevin
