Back in 1988, I used to own a 1976 Bonanza A36. Then we moved to Houston and, for reasons that are not very uncommon, I gave up flying. However, after more than twenty years, the desire to fly has flared up one more time. So, during the past 3 months I have retrained in C 172 and then completed the IFR refresher.
This weekend I have bought 1/3 share in a 1975 A36 and I am scheduled to spend the next couple of days with a CFII for the check ride. What comes next is still uncertain but I have met a bunch of fun loving fellow pilots at the local airport. So, I plan to hang around and join them in hopping to nearby airports for coffee and sandwich.

Congratulations Moien! Glad to have you back in the fold. If you're still in Houston (can't tell from your profile), you'll find a very active group of BT'ers there. And of course...we need PICTURES!!!

I think Chris' lunch party in Corsicana this Friday is the perfect opportunity for a cross country in your new plane. Besides, you will get to meet Max, Chris and FNG. See the post in Trip Talk about Texas Lunch or something like that. BTW, there is another Bonanza pilot in Texas named Mary Jane Butt. Weird coincidence. Welcome!

PMC Corsicana trip would have been ideal to meet the legends and many more at one place but on that day I am traveling overseas. However, I plan to visit McKinney once I return from London in about a week. I am glad to have found "family" here in Texas but people quickly loose interest when they learn that I am not related to HEB. May be one of these days I may bump into Bob and Mary at one of the airports.

Yes, you are right, this is the one. Paul sold his share to me about two weeks ago. I have two other partners.
