I've been mostly silently following this community. I have a 1977 Piper Lance due to wife's preference for a wider cabin but would love to own an A36 someday. Five member family that loves to travel the Southeast.

Sounds like you are in my neighborhood. I bought a lance for the same reasons. One day, after kids are gone, I might be a Beech owner.

I joined this community to shake off some "V tail mental rust" when I was doing an insurance checkout and never left. In terms on pretty good wisdom and advice on nearly every subject, this is the group.

The Lance is a good hauler. I flew one for a couple (he had lost his medical) for a while. Solid airplane. But an -36 is MUCH more of a pilot's airplane. Just saying!
