I am a fairly new member to Beechtalk. Last Summer, after about 12 years of not flying, I have found time to resume my adventures in the air. I owned a 1962 Deb for a few years before I stopped flying because I just didn't have the time. I never completed my instrument rating so I wanted a plane I could get my rating. I went on a search for an A36 as the perfect plane for me. As I looked around, it seemed that the good ones got sold before I got to them and the bad ones just didn't fit the bill. I stumbled on a 1947 Model 35 in pristine condition and I bought it. In late November I closed on a 1982 B36TC that had a low time engine and nice paint and interior. The panel needs some serious upgrading but all in due time. I have the B36TC hangared at KTUS and the Model 35 hangared near my home at KTIW. I hope to post the pictures below

Beautiful planes, though my eyes quickly gravitated towards the v tail

The V-tail also captured my heart. The previous owners were older and really needed to sell it. I wanted to make sure it went to a good home. I really didn't need it, but it is a blast to fly.
