Hello BT'ers.

For the last month I have been combing over the BT forums finding all kinds of technical information about my new to me B model Bonanza that I bought in a partnership with my uncle last December. I have found all kinds of great tech and maintenance information regarding these old airplanes in the forums as well as contacts for vintage Beech parts. Since we brought the Bo home on December 19th we removed all panels, floor boards and rear bulkhead for the inspection, after some minor repairs and a lot of LPS 2 & Aeroshell 22 we now have a fresh annual and in the process of repairing some minor discrepancies that should be addressed. Among a handful of other things we replaced the bushings and hardware in the nose wheel steering and ordered rod ends with new hardware for the landing gear. We inspected the drive pin in the Thompson fuel pump, fabricated/repaired the original cabin heater cable and repaired the retractable step back to functioning as original (had a bolt holding the step in a fixed position). I just wanted to say thank you for all the fantastic information that some you have made available on the website. If I had kept a log of my time surfing the BT forums I am pretty sure it would be well in the high double digits. This website to me has become similar to an addiction and it keeps me up late at night reading about all the repairs and upgrades some of you have made to your Bonanza's over the years and I appreciate all this information and experience being available online. I have a good friend that owns a J model with a Lycoming IO-540 that I fly frequently and service when needed. I posted a pic of both Bo's together that I took a few days after bringing the B home. Thanks again for all this great info. It is appreciated.

Mark

Welcome Mark! Congratulations on your new aircraft.
Love the picture.....two absolutely beautiful classic aircraft! Sometime you will have to get an airborne shot of you two in formation. The two paint schemes seem to beg for it.

Another Iowan, yay!
Welcome Mark.

Perfect "brace" in the picture!

See/hear you around our friendly skies!
It's scary when you are starting to recognise over 50% of the GA traffic in state. Maybe I fly too much?
