Aircraft: Bonanza E33A
Hello all,

I'm new to the BT community and am excited to meet and talk with fellow Beech pilots!
Am based in STL and currently between aircraft ownership. My last plane was a 1968 E33A Bonanza which I dearly loved. I spent 3 years enjoying the total restoration of 18N and had the pleasure of owning and flying a terrific airplane for nearly a decade. We made many trips together - Colorado, Bahamas, and many parts in between!

Unfortunately, my pride and joy was destroyed not long after it was sold. Fortunately, the new owner/pilot and his passengers only sustained minor injury. I've made several attempts at locating the plane, but came up short with each attempt. I know it's still out there somewhere – at least in some configuration. Maybe I'll try posting more about the aircraft one day in hopes of learning of its demise and maybe getting a chance to meet up with my old friend again.

Happy New Year and Happy Flying!
Dan

Photo from 1987 at 0TX0 in Acton, TX taken on the day of the first flight after restoration. My good friend and pilot Fred Hartman (RIP) and a much younger version of myself! Very exciting day to say the least! And she flew flawlessly. It's a Bonanza after all!

Welcome to BT Dan! Sorry to hear about your baby, but glad everyone is OK. Good luck finding your next "toy". I'm also in the hunt right now.

Hi Vince,

Thanks for the welcome. I was always partial to the straight tails and will probably look for another 33 or maybe a 36. Good luck with your search. There are a lot of nice planes on the market and I'm sure you'll find something soon!
