New Member Intro: Buddy Cox, Owner Grumman AA5 Traveler based at KGPM, Grand Prairie Municipal, USAF Pilot Retired, American Airlines Captain DFW based Retired. 350 hours of ASEL: T-34, C-172, PA-28, AA-5*. VP American Yankee Association. My wife is a new pilot trying to solo after 40 hours of dual instruction. We met in the Air Force Aero Club where she was a non-flying member. The club had two T-34's and that is where I got about 50 hours in theT-34. That is my entire Beech experience. I joined your group for several reasons: 1. I wanted to read an article on iPad hazards found with Google that I wanted to read on your site but could not without joining so here I am. 2. With the decline in the number of planes, club flyins are harder to do without combining them with other organizations. Meeting after OSH in 2012 was an example. Maybe a Grumman/Beech flying to KGPM, one of the cheapest 100LL places around. 3. I was hoping to find a someone that 'I'll show you mine,if you show me yours.

I'm in an owner's hangar. N5, #102. Give me a call when you go out. 817-280-0439C. I've never flown in a Bonanza. I saw one with a single yoke and V tail. Always wondered if the setup worked well.

Welcome. I came here a few years ago to research some specifics on a panel upgrade I was planning for my 182. I'll warn you, it's a very friendly and knowledgeable bunch, but I ended up buying my panel upgrade twice because I made a few mistakes... First I researched pressurized airplanes and bought one panel upgrade pre-installed into a 58P. Then, I decided to save money by flying to a weather seminar with Anil S in his beautiful A36. A few months later, I invalidated all the savings of that "plane pooling" by buying another panel upgrade already installed in an A36... These guys are friendly, but they sure can be tricky in selling their Beechcraft passion... Welcome!
