Hi guys and gals. Just joined BeechTalk today. I recently bought into a partnership owning a C182 and a gorgeous 1966 Bonanza V-35. My aviation career has been spotty since 1969 but now have the time and finances to pursue my dream. I first got checked out in the 182 and now, Dec 8, will take my first ride in the Bonanza. I have dreamed of owning a V tail since I first began flying. Now I do. I look forward to leaning on BeechTalk to fully understand the nuances of the Bonanza. One thing we owners are considering is adding a Gen Sys yaw aug system to help with the tail wag. Anyone have a comment or recommendation? Attachment: DSC_0111.jpg

Welcome the Beechtalk. You will love the way the Bonanza flies! It isn't anything that can be described by any statistic but rather the way it feels to fly it and how phenomenal it handles!
I have owned a V-35B for a year and have not wanted or needed a yaw dampner. I do have pretty active feet/rudder control. Others may have different opinions that are equally valid, but that is mine.
