Finally after 30 years of flying I am a Bonanza owner. My friend Chuck and I are fortunate to acquire N34AS, a 1965 S35 from fellow BeechTalkers, Jeff and Vince (see attached picture). These guys have maintained and improved this plane to what is I am sure one of the nicest S35 out there and they are super guys also. I have been fortunate to fly an A36 for the last 3 years and have just over 100 hrs of Bonanza time and about 1500 hrs total including 100 in gliders, 250 tailwheel and 100 ME with instrument rating. I flew in a V35 for the very first time in the mid 80's with a fine gentlemen from Cincinnati, Jim Atwood. He graciously gave me lift from Oshkosh to LUK. Since that day it has been a dream to own a V Tail Bonanza. Thanks for all the good info on this site. I look forward to learning much more.

You're gonna love it! I've had 2 different V-Tails and put about 1300 hours in them. Fantastic machines...can't help but smile when you push the throttle in.

Welcome to the club and congratulations.
Vtail key rings are mandatory for V tails, you knew that, right?
ABS sells them for just a few bucks.
I buy them by the handful and give them away to any kid who asks me about my V tail.
Warn your mail carrier that a lot of strange catalogs will start showing up in your mail box.

Congratulations, you will really enjoy your Bonanza. Also great choice to buy in with a co-owner. I think co-ownership has lots of upsides and generates excellent camaraderie.
