Mitch, Welcome to BeechTalk. Nice airplane - is that Paul H's Bonanza? Take a look at the Midwest never ending fly in thread over in Trip Talk. We get together for lunch, breakfast or other fun events every now and then. Congratulations on your airplane! - Martin

Congrats, we bought a J35 in July and are based out of KLVN. I recognize your float plane from Surfside as well. I have been instructing up there for Brian this summer. The Bonanza makes a great commuter from Lakeville right up to surfside Turns out Bob Timm at Seaplane services knows a lot about Bo's. He calibrated our fuel system for us last week. Would love to see your plane when you bring it home.

Bob is actually the former owner of our 172 and we use him for all our maintenance. He's been great to us so far with the routine stuff, annual and a couple minor upgrades. I'm glad to know he's somewhat familiar with the breed as I haven't yet found a local mechanic to be my 'on call' guy when things break. My tentative plan is to fly out the Bo to a specialty shop for annuals, but I'll have to see if that turns into a headache or not. I'll update when I get 18S home (hopefully in a couple weeks, fingers crossed), it would be fun to get together and exchange our experiences of becoming new Bo owners.

I'm based in Kalamazoo KAZO. I think I saw your aircraft over on the southside. Let me know if I can do anything. On the right day I could pick you up and bring you to AZO to take her home.
Mike.
