We are between the Lindberg A and Cannon A MOAs. Yes, we keep cows out - and try and run the deer off on a regular basis. It is not pasture grass and we keep it mowed fairly short. We also have a pretty good gradient so we generally take-off (to the North) down hill and land uphill (to the South) but it works either way when the winds dictate. My Bonanza is a ’74 A36 with a 520 - normally aspirated. It performs great. -MO

I notice 2, R- Pvt listed landing strips between the 2 MOA's you listed. I am now wondering if I have to formally "declare" or designate, w/ the FAA a landing strip on my property when it is established in order to fly in/out?
I was certainly hoping to keep a low pro about it....
Jerry Ours is not listed or formally declared ... I am sure sooner or later there will be some bureau or department that will find this in violation of some policy that some genius invents for my protection ...welcome to the jungle! This being said, a neighbor has a strip that is listed. I will sometimes use his identifier for flight planning purposes or in letting others know how to get there without having to manually enter a new waypoint - -MO

Milton Freedman would disapprove...Would enjoy further discussions in that area for leisure and bending elbows .
Give it about 2 months and I just might ask you to do a fly-by of the new strip and get a short fielder's opinion! You are within a 10-15 min flight from me,- we just have to plan around the MOA activity- A-10 practice runs. I have been cruising down my pasture in my RTV and have already been "lit up" by an A-10 doing a practice strafing run.

One word: tip tanks. OK, two. I went to Auburn and majored in accounting. Still can't count to 21 without taking my pants off.

You know Bill, that's exactly how I picked N21Tango for the call sign on my last bird (see earlier pic posted)! If I do wind up with an A36 instead of a BT36, I will definitely add tip tanks for range. U of F Building Construction- Class of '80 Jerry
