Greetings from the great white North! I fly for Buffalo Airways, a company that operates DC-3s, C-46s, Lockheed Electras, mainly for freight to remote Northern Communities, as well as CL-215s for fire suppression. My regular job is as a co-pilot on the DC-3 running freight as well as passengers on the scheduled service. I originally did my flight training on a Baron 55, and recently Buffalo Airways has retired one of their Barons as a BirdDog airplane and are using is strictly for small charters. Lucky me gets to be the Baron pilot! I have my PPC ride in about two weeks from the time of this post and I'm here to share my interest in this airplane and pick up any useful information I can. Thanks and safe flying!

Hello Sam, Congratulations for making the grade with Mr McBryan. Please tell your boss my family very much enjoyed the TV series.
We may drop in to steel a cup of coffee from your front office before the summer ends.
Welcome to BT

I had a chance to go to Alaska and haul fish in the DC-3 several years ago. I had to commit to a 1 month minimum stay and I did not think I could be gone from work that long... Work is still here but the chance to fly a DC-3 hauling fish is most probably gone forever... :-(
There is a lesson in there somewhere....

Welcome and thanks for the photos. We haven't had a DC-3 on our BDL ramp since the early-mid 90's, for Saturday AM service from the hinterlands. Hearing those Radial Wasps fire up was like sweet music from the wayback machine.
