Good morning from Sydney Australia.
I learnt to fly many years ago in Skippers and Sundowners and gained my PPL, but not long after my eyesight deteriorated so badly I failed my Class 2 Med.
With the wonders of modern surgery I have (this year) had one lens replaced, and am now waiting for my left eye to be done. 2015 will be my year to resurrect my licence and get back into Beechcraft - the ultimate dream is to own my own Baron.

Regards
Tony

Welcome aboard Tony!

Hope it works out for you. I know of an airline pilot with two lenses put in. And now he doesn't even need to have glasses.

Welcome aboard Tony! Best of luck and a sucessful outcome with your surgery. The Baron is, IMO, the ultimate. Can't think of a more enjoyable "money pit". If you learn to work on them yourself it is only a "mini" money pit. Mate!!
