Hello to all. I am new to the Beech Talk forum and have only recently joined the world of Bonanza. A few months ago I bought a nice 1981 A36TC, N25LR. I have been flying for about 9 years. I am IFR rated. Most of my time is in an Archer, but I have about 50 hours in a Mooney Rocket. I needed something that would haul a little more than the Mooney. Obviously I got that! I love flying the A36, and the transition was not difficult, but it is different, to say the least. Basically the same engine in both birds, so that transition was minimal; landings however, that is quite different! Not hard to learn to land the bigger, heavier plane, just don't expect it to float in ground effect for a long ways! I am going to upgrade the panel from the original steam gauges. Wow, talk about options! I live in northeast South Dakota. Married since before my Bo was built. My job allows (forces?) me the opportunity to travel quite a bit all over the US. Maybe now I can take my golf clubs along!
