Hello from Mississippi! Just getting to know my latest Beech, a 1983 58 Baron. I have been a long time Beech owner ( Sierra, V-35, 55, F33, C90, 58). Still have the F33 (TN), in the shop for a full upgrade: panel, tip tanks, O2, new glass, paint and interior. I am new to Beech Talk and enjoy it! Will be attending the BPT program this weekend and looking forward to learning more about my plane.

Plan on learning LOP operations at the BPT class this weekend, this plane is new to me and not used to flying LOP. My F33 is a turbo normalized 520 and LOP the engine is a little rough so I run that one ROP. The 550's on this plane seem to run smoothly LOP, but the engines are new and I'm not that familiar with the Auracle yet so I'm spending money on fuel right now trying not to burn a valve or something.

BPT is great! They will be very helpful getting you tuned into your new plane. And theres lots of fuel to be saved in the baron running LOP.
