Attachment: 2014-03-10 12.52.08.jpg Attachment: 2014-03-10 12.50.29.jpg Hello folks, please find attached pictures of my current ride. A 79/80 TN-A36. This is my third aircraft and probably my last. My first aircraft was another A36 in a partnership which was great for 2 years. Then I found a K35 I could afford solo. Steve LaPage that was your old girl, N5322E. The K35 was nice, but I wanted the room of an A36 plus the operating simplicity and the ability to get into smooth air that a TN provides. On the personal side I started flying in 1981 at the tender age of 16. I wanted the corporate pilot career but prospects looked poor with a medical waiver. In 1986 I started my ATC career which just ended last fall at BHM (central Alabama). I enjoyed the work but grew cynical (ICAO, LUAW, eLEMS) of people who've never worked traffic making rules & shift work. The mid every week was killing me physically. I see Newpower is the resident ATC. I have a feeling he enjoys training new people, he explains things clearly. I disliked training, both giving & receiving. Years ago I read ABS Hangar Talk & from those post attended APS in 2005. Glad I found BT, you've already helped clear up some issues. Next issue, where to fly? I saw Max's DKX thing mid May & a thread looking for a TC/TN meet. I'm interested in both, but cannot commit. BB

He's a very experienced mechanic and taught me a lot through owner assisted annuals. I haven't spoken to him in a few years, I hope he's still active and in business. -Mark Thanks, I was lucky enough to meet Bob Ripley back in '03 & he's been my go to guy ever since.
