Alright... The EZ... Built in '82 - not by me - and flown from Honolulu to Oshkosh that year. 125 gallons, 4497 miles, and 32 hours - before GPS. The story is here - about 1/4 of the way down: http://www.ez.org/t/cpc-034Still a fun traveling machine solo but a little tight in the rear seat for my bride to stretch out. I'm still chasing after knots on it - new exhaust going on now with a prop extension. low drag wheel pants and a gear leg mod next, then to hide the antennas and bury the lights. If all goes well, I'll be bringing the Bo home this weekend - checkout and BPPP flight part of BPPP Online+Flight is on Saturday. Now to see if she can share a hangar with the EZ or not... Happy Flyin'! Andy

Andy,
Welcome to BeechTalk!
Our newly 9 year old suffered mightily with motion sickness. High, smooth and cool is better than low, hot and bumpy, whenever possible.
Eating something before flying tended to work well (Cheerios = good... Chocolate = bad). Many people swear by ginger cookies or other ginger products, but the 9 year old never wanted to eat those.
At some point, Seabands become an option. We are now at an age where Dramamine is viable, and has proven pretty successful over the last year or so.
